During the period of time of Private Vehicle Restriction, private passenger vehicles are prohibited from driving on the road. For detailed information, please see “Private Vehicle Restriction.”

The Fuji Subaru Line is open if the road conditions and weather conditions are good.
For example, when it snows and also the road has snow cover, at least part of the road will be opened after snow removal.
Even if the road is not covered by snow, if the road has frost, the road may be closed or operation hours may be changed because there is danger that the road surface could be frozen. In addition, if there are risks of driving due to an approaching typhoon and other reasons, the road also may be closed or operation hours may be changed.

The Fuji Subaru Line is a mountain road. In winter, please use snow chains.

Please note that the speed limit of the Subaru Line (toll section) is 50 km/hour. As there are many curves in the road, please be careful not to drive at excessive speed when driving downhill.

After mountain climbing or hiking (when you are tired), there may be a risk that you fail to negotiate a turn, hit a guard rail or fall in a roadside ditch because of drowsy driving or excessive speed.
Please take a rest before you feel any danger, and keep your mind set on safe driving.

Wild animals including deer or Japanese raccoons may suddenly dash out onto the road along the Subaru Line. Please pay careful attention to them while driving.
